"I started kart racing about  6 years ago, with City Karting in the Cadet Category, at probably 9 years old" stated our young man

After 3 years in the Cadets, Nik Iruwan went on to the Juniors for the subsequent 2 years and finally ventured into the top 100cc class now. In his last 6 years, Nik Iruwan was racing with quite a few teams but settled with RL Racing Team late in 2001. 

His exposure to the who's who of the Malaysian karting scene has perhaps made this quiet young man, a likeable person with every driver and team in our local karting scene.

"Kimi Raikkonen is my driving idol and my ambition is to emmulate him!" said our yet another Formula 1 aspirant.

"I have many people to thank for where I am in karting today - my parents, my current team especially Uncle Richard & Wai Leong and also, my previous teams and sponsors!" Nik Iruwan says.

Nik Iruwan comes from a motorsports family, with full support of his father who is usually seen at key races. Not doubt, this young man will go far in his speedy venture - take my word.
