The Red White Sangari Invitational Kart Prix 2009 aims to attract the world's best drivers in the Rotax Max categories to Sepang International Kart Circuit. Top prize monies are offered and the 1st place earns USD4000 and the categories of racing are Seniors/Masters, Junior and MicroMax.

8/08/09 Racing in Malaysia The final round of the Malaysian Rotax Max Challenge Rd 5 will be held on the weekend, 15 -16 August 2009 at the Speedway Plus Elite Karting Circuit, in conjunction also with also the last round ( Rd 4 ) for Rotax Mojo Asia Zone Challenge 2009.

For racers and supporters alike, the following downloadable info will be useful! 

Be there as this will probably be the largest karting race for 2009 and the grandest finale for the Year's Rotax Max Challenge!!

7/07/09 Racing in Malaysia Malaysia celebrates the opening of yet another international karting venue this year, by hosting the AMC Rd 3/RMC Rd 4 in conjuction with inaugural Royal Pahang Kart Prix on the weekend 25 & 26 July 2009! 

This brand new track, named INDRAPURA is located in Pekan town, Pahang - which is one hour south of Kuantan town, the gateway to the famous East Coast beaches.

8/4/09 Racing in Malaysia Over the coming weekend, the RMC Rd 2 and AMC Rd 1 will be held at the Elite Plus Karting this 11/12 April weekend. Racing will be intense as more than 60 drivers have signed up, with many full grids for the Junior and Senior classes. Even DD2 has 8 signed drivers.

For the Yamaha Cup dates, and the webmaster has taken these from the MAM website but there seem to be some mistakes...8 rounds? The above* is selected based on the event details provided and the webmaster will be most please to correct any mistakes if someone was to give him the final schedule! Do Mail him!

Please find attached the following documents of the championship and this year, it will be a 4 round championship, nicely spread out thru the year.

Round 1 will be held at the Elite Plus Speedway this Sunday!

    23/4/2008 Racing in Malaysia The AAM Malaysian Karting Championship 2008 Rd 1 has been postponed for safety reasons. 

    The tyre barriers just before the pit entry, which has been a scene of bad crashes has not been erected hence the postponement of this round.

    Racing in Malaysia

    We are the RMC Malaysia 2007 Champion in the Max Senior Category with Masedenal Ali beating all the best drivers Malaysia had to offer! Our young rookie, drove consistently throughout the year and finished on the podium constantly to ensure Championship points.

     

    Ede, a very passionate karter started karting late last year but practice very hard for the 2007 season. With his drive and a very encouraging father’s backing & support – he will go far!

     

    All the best in the World Finals at Al Ain, UAE! Do Malaysia proud!!

    Over the last 2 months - our track has been upgraded again, this time on the surface drainage system. 

    Drainage wells connected in  network and fed by strategically located drains now ensure our track drains faster for kart driving to resume!

    Pictures of these new system shall be available shortly.

    17/6/06 Racing in Malaysia Due to the last minute change of ROK Malaysia Round 2 running dates - we will now be running Rd 2 and 3 in ONE weekend. This is planned for 1st & 2nd July 2006 respectively. Venue of racing is tentatively to be at Elite but this is subject to change as well, pending final track homologation!  STAY TUNED!!!
    17/6/06 Fun & Corporate Due to a change and upgrade in timing system to a higher version ( hence needing battery powered transponders ) - our track timing will now be available for corporate events only. Please kindly take note.

    10/9/05 Racing in Malaysia The rumble of kart racing will return to Shah Alam this 23- 25th Sept with the running of the NAZA AAM ASIAN KARTING OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP 2005.

    Eight kart classes will be raced over the weekend - Cadet 60, Cadet 85, Junior, Senior, Masters, ICA, Open & Veteran. Be there to see for yourself which of them will be the fastest around our circuit! A demonstration race using our fun kart K80 will be run as well.

    The action racing action starts early on Saturday and climaxes on Sunday noon onwards. Best of all, be there both days to not miss any of the GUARANTEED ACTION!

    25/4/05 Racing in Malaysia Our Team driver did reasonably well in the 1st round of the Asian Max Challenge / Rotax Max Challenge, held at Kota Bahru. 

    Our Junior Max driver, Jazeman finished 2nd whilst Shafiq Ali scored 2nd in the Senior Max. Making a comeback, Eric Yong 3rd placed in the Masters class & youngsters Armann & Leo Mahr, both 3rd & 4th in the new RM1 class!

    30/3/05 Star Driver One of our 1st Star Driver - Jazeman Dato Jaafar recently raced in Mariembourg, Belgium in his bid for the Belgium Open Kart Championships 2005. 

    Jazeman qualified well in this 1st round race, 13th and even raced to 10th in Race 1 Final. In Race 2 Final, his chain dropped off forcing him to 26th. Since both results count as points, Jazeman scored 18th placing out of 28 drivers. 

    A respectable race result, considering the quality & experience of the local drivers! See his results here on line!

    ( Please note that due to clashes in race dates, he will only compete 4 rounds out of the Championship's 6.)

    22/2/05 Racing in Malaysia Please find attached the Rules & Regulation for the Rotax Mojo Asia Challenge 2005 - with Kelab Sukan Bermotor Langkawi as the organiser. 

    The 4 round event will for this year run on MOJO tyres which is of a hard compound grade. Another highlight is the Junior Max champion at the end of the year will be offered a testing session in a Formula BMW and the Senior/Masters champion a test in the Mini Cooper racecar in Bahrain.

    25/7/02 Star Driver As mentioned earlier this year, Aaron Lim competed at the  Winter Cup 2002 which was held at South Grada, Italy in February. It was a real eye opener & an invaluable exposure for our young man - karting at the world level! See some of the pictures  taken during his trip and races there!
