Company Information

City Karting Enterprise, Malaysia's leading professional kart company was set up approximately six years ago by Mr. Ng Kim Kee. It was then a small operation, compared to what it is today. In the early days, the company was based in Bukit Kemuning and operated out of a shoplot.

 

Another one for the Boys!

What started out an avenue to further his son's hobby turned into a successful business venture with the company now occupying a 200 square metre workshop in the grounds of the Shah Alam Stadium. It also runs its own kart track; the Shah Alam Stadium Circuit - which has now a completely new surface and revised layout. ( as per May 2000 )

 

 
Malaysia's Karting Family...
The business has now progressed to be a complete family affair, with Mr. Ng's son joining him. Ng Wai Leong, Malaysia's National  Kart Champion is now heading the company with the guidance of  his   father. On their own accord, Mr. Ng and Wai Leong  underwent  a month's  training  in England  for the   sole purpose  of   improving his kart driving skills, as well as servicing and kart event organising. They believe firmly that, to strive for excellence   in their competitive business, they must have better experience and advantage over other karters. Their wise mentality and investment  has paid off handsomely now, with their success both on track and off the track.

Marketing and Promotion...
City Karting Promotion,  the   marketing and event  organising  arm of City Karting Enterprise was set up a few years back, to venture full time into the area of race organisation and event promotion. This has also proved to another  successful activity, with the success of the KBS Ford Malaysia Kart Prix Series, first held in 1999 and continued this year.

What set out to be hobby, turned into a successful business, which the Ng family can be proud of! Unbelievable, but True©......one of their marketing clique seems to reflect this correctly.
