Daniel is the younger brother of James Veerapen, our Star Driver in January 2001.

He started competitive karting only this year and is also under the guidance and coaching of RL Racing, run by kart tuning guru, Richard Lim.

Daniel competes this year in the very competitive class of Formula J class with so far mixed results - no fault of his as the rest in his class are all experienced karters having started from Formula Cadet a few years earlier.

When asked about his ambition, Daniel thought carefully and said "To be able to race successfully in any form of motorsports but no bikes!"

The very young man, together with his brother however shares the full support from their parents in their hobby especially from their father ; Michael, a well known local musician. The Veerapen clan is seen at every race and practise - a perfect sport for the whole family.

Like all things in life, nothing comes easy especially so  in competitive karting. Daniel was seen hastily putting on his helmet after dad told him to stop chatting and get out on the track......
