Run at our own track; the Shah Alam Stadium Circuit, we are able to offer the public a safe and controlled environment to experience the adrenaline rush from karting. Our Race Machines for hire...

Since 2000, our stable of hire kart available has steadily grown & updated. The following are presently what's available for the walk-in customer at our Shah Alam track. Click on one of the categories to read more about the kart!!!

 

Kart Type Driver Level Requirements

Cadet K80 Hire Kart

Our entry level kart - no driver experience needed..

Yamaha 100 Hire Kart

We recommend some drives on the Cadet 1st before driving this class. Previous kart driving experience preferred.

PRD100 Hire Kart

Slightly faster than the Yamaha, but the speeds are real. Experience with the Yamaha is needed to fully enjoy this fully.

DOUBLE Seater Kart 

No experience needed! A great kart to start learning the track. Highly recommended for anyone needing guidance and tutoring. It's FUN!

 

At City Karting, we are constantly trying to improve our offering to the public and hence may offer certain special karts for hire....depending on what is available. For example - we had rain tyres on our FOUR stroke karts for one of corporate days - which saved the day's event and saw everyone having a great time!!

Enroll in our Kart School, now available since January 2004! Get the experience of driving what we race in kart races! Feel the power, feel the neck snapping acceleration! Adrenaline rush guaranteed,  and it is NOT an option! Please note that this is a specially created program and hence a minimum number of drivers is required to create the curriculum and karts! Inquire with us!!!

Automatic Lap Timing... 
To add to the exciting atmosphere of kart racing, we are introducing automatic lap timing feature on all our hire karts! To keep your spectators & supporters informed of your progress on track, a monitor will be mounted at the spectator area - showing your lap times on line! The timing system from AMB will certainly give our fun karters a taste of the real thing! 
 
Drivers! The challenge is on to see who holds the record at our track!!!

The timing system is AVAILABLE ONLY FOR OUR CORPORATE EVENTS due to an upgrade in system. The latest transponders require batteries for functionality. Due to this - they require recharging and re-installation which on a daily rental basis is not practical.

What do you need to DRIVE????...
To drive our hire karts, there is no need for a driver's license and no age-limit is applied although one should be able to reach the pedals fully. We provide complementary helmets for your safety. Drivers must however wear shoes while driving to reduce any risk of mishaps & increase driving comfort.

 

All Hire Karts are available at our track 7 days a week!!!!

Mondays to Sundays : 11am to 7pm

Public Holidays : Normally open, but call for time confirmation & kart availability!

 

Mini Grand Prix...amongst your staff!
City Karting Promotion, City Karting Enterprise’s marketing and event management arm,  is  able  to  co-ordinate  and manage corporate karting events; from a simple family day to a full scale mini kart prix event, for your staff or even clients. Our  service  begins  with  the conceptualisation of your race  event, ensuring  the best solution  to suit your company's wishes, followed  on to  a thorough & full co-ordination plus management of the event.

At your request, City Karting Promotion can quote you a package comprising of computerised timing system & results printout  to increase the spirit of competition. For the benefit of the Client, City Karting Promotion can also provide full catering service, canopy and chair hire, PA systems and complete prize presentation to the winning drivers.

City Karting is proud to be the FIRST in Malaysian Corporate Karting to offer you On-site Ambulance Service for your events. Karting is a speed sports and safety precautions in safety equipment & well maintained karts are always the BEST insurance. To maximise our efforts in promoting SAFETY, in tandem to St John Ambulans Malaysia - we can arrange for an ambulance, complete with paramedics to be on stand-by during your event.

City Karting - now a world wide known Kart Track thru AXN Amazing Race Asia!!!!

Hitting the TV screens in November 2006 recently, was the airing of the first episode for the AXN Amazing Race Asia. In this episode, karting was one of the challenges the team had to complete. Finding the direction to the circuit seemed to be the larger challenge than driving the kart - at least for some! 

Some teams were over-confident and spun their karts as a result.....discovering that they are not a child's play, even on our Cadet karts. Nevertheless, most if not all were seen enjoying the adrenaline rush they had from karting!!!
