Name : James Nicholas Veerapen Age : 17 Date of Birth : 22nd October 1983 Class Racing in : Formula P ( Piston Port ) in 2000. Kart No.: 11 James has been one of the karting sensation of the year 2000 at our track. He took up karting only in February 2000, after a convincing test drive with our local kart "guru", Richard Lim. His debut international race in the KBS Ford Malaysia Rd 2 saw him taking victory - his first of many more to come. In fact, James took the Formula P 2000 Championships with 26 points, 10 ahead of his nearest challenger even when missing the 1st round - a testimony of his driving abilities. "I would like to thank Uncle Richard, Aaron and most of all, my dad for my successful racing season for the year" said our level headed young man. When questioned about his ambition, "Just be successful in anything I do" - answered a humble James. Our young man will venture into the Formula 100 class in 2001 and we will surely see an outstanding performance from him. The Formula P class will definitely miss him... |
