Competitive Pricing.....City Karting gives you a pricing benchmark that others can only hope to emulate...                                                             Kart Steering Wheels The latest product available at our showroom is the Alfano Look4 steering wheels, which is designed to house the Alfano Pro/Fun Chronometric System  ( shown below ). The steering is manufactured jointly with Italy's KGKarting - a world renowed makers of kart steering wheels & accessories. As seen on illustration on right, the wheels are available in a few colours to match your kart or suit  colour. For the more conventional, a three spoke steering wheel is also available ( Look3 ) but the Look4 model is definitely an F1 replica!      Kart Telemetric Instruments The availability of the ALFANO Chronometric System on our track is probably the best & most cost effective personal driver improvement tool he can probably get.  The Alfano is available in three models ; Pro, Fun and Cadet but the most common is the Pro model which has the possibility to also read engine temperature, a vital tuning function for the top drivers.  The PRO model is shown on the left and has the following features: - Large individual display - ALFANO lap timing with the option of 3 split times for each lap - RPM counter (various displays) maximum 26,000 rpm - Display of fastest lap, deviation from fastest lap, number of laps and total driving time - 5 counters for different engine running time - Engine temperature (water) « +0°C ą +150°C ou +32°F ą +302°F » (sensor Optional) - Engine temperature (cylinder head) « +46°C ą +299°C ou +115°F ą +570°F » (sensor Optional) - Infrared output via PC (Software and downloading kit optional) - Recording Mode "rec" - Many Options available i.e temperature sensors, infra red kits Come to our track or showroom to see the system in use!!                           For the year 2003, we are introducing another brand of kart instruments - the AIMSPORTS system. This well race proven system is very popular with karters throughout USA and is making its presence felt now in Asia and Australian/NZ region. City Karting has in stock now, two of their latest models - the MyChron 3 and MyChron 3+/Gold. Their features and capabilities are as detailed below. MyChron 3 The new MyChron3 model includes a tachometer, one temperature input, and lap times.  With a beautiful new display the MyChron3 has a backlight standard and 250 lap memory with maximum and minimum RPM values per lap, as well as maximum temperature per lap.   It also has a built in 10Hz data logger for playback on screen or a high speed USB download to a PC and use of the powerful Race Studio software.  With 64kb of memory, the MyChron3 will record about 25 minutes of rpm and temperature data.  The MyChron 3 includes the built-in data logger,  infrared transmitter and receiver, rpm pick-up, and 1 temperature sensor (your choice of CHT, EGT or H20).   MyChron 3+ Gold The new MyChron3+ Gold adds track mapping ability, lateral G's and two megs of memory to the MyChron3+. This model includes a lateral G sensor, tachometer, two temperature inputs, wheel speed, gear position (where applicable) and lap times.  With a beautiful new display the MyChron3+ Gold has a backlight standard and 250 lap memory with maximum and minimum RPM and temperature values per lap.   It also has a built in 10Hz data logger for playback on screen or a high speed USB download to a PC and use of the powerful new Race Studio 2 software.  With a huge 2MB of memory, the MyChron3+ Gold will record nearly two hours of all inputs.  The MyChron 3+ Gold includes the built-in data logger,  infrared transmitter and receiver, rpm pick-up, wheel speed sensor and 1 temperature sensor (your choice of CHT, EGT or H20).    The MyChron 3+ Gold model, with its ability to log wheel speed and map the race track is rated to be the next vital teaching tool in improving your on-track performance.
