Pre-Event Press Releases - added 25/10/2000

24th October 2000 : Kementerian Belia & Sukan / Ford Malaysia Kart Prix Round 4 postponed to 25th & 26th Nov 2000

Due to clashes with other karting events in the region, the next round of the KBS/Ford Malaysia Kart Prix ( Rd. 4 ) will be postponed to the 25th & 26th November from its earlier planned date of mid November.

On the same original date of 11 & 12th November, our event coincidences with Macau Kart Prix and judging from the good response from our Macau, HK & Taiwanese drivers for our previous races and also for the next round as well, the organisers felt that it was worthwhile to defer the event to a later date to allow for their participation to further boost the quality of racing in our event.

More importantly, City Karting Promotion will be sending a Malaysian karting team to participate in the Oceania 2000 Race event at the Raleigh, New South Wales, Australia – held between the 8th & 12th November 2000. Our driver’s team currently consists of National Kart Champion & Formula Asia driver Ng Wai Leong and his two young protégé; Aaron Lim and Arif Nor who will surely benefit from this international exposure. We welcome any supporters at the event to support our team and hold our Malaysian flag high.

Once again, the venue for our KBS Kart Prix Rd. 4 will be held at our Shah Alam Stadium Circuit, hence we would like to see you there on the 25th & 26th November!

See the action! Feel the speed! See you trackside!
