As per announced on our website on 1st July 2010, City Karting Enterprise is very proud and honoured to have taken over the track management of the world class Morac International Kart Circuit. This scenic and interesting track is located in the beach holiday and tax free haven of Langkawi Island.

The track played host to 2 past Rotax World Finals previously, the first in 2001 and the 2nd, in 2005. For the 2005 edition, the track was lengthened to the present layout and for that race also, the track was run in a anti-clockwise direction.

 

The 1230m long track is now run in the clockwise direction for the rental kart operation which City Karting has since improved as well. Probably one of the very few tracks in the nation to the offer this -  most of the corners are banked and hence offers a possibility of a high cornering speed! It is indeed a driver's track!

The track and facilities

Since taking over the operation of the track, City Karting has upgraded the rental kart available to the public, and also include a few 2 seater karts to our stable of karts. 

As Langkawi is renowed as a tourist destination for local and foreigners alike - our efforts are concentrated to ensure our clients enjoy karting with their family and friends. 4 stroke karts are available, all equipped with safety bumpers to ensure a safe outing for all drivers!

To also ensure the daddy gets to show his driving prowess - the 2 seater karts are made available for public hire. As per our experience from running this kart from our other track operations - this is a great way to ensure the young and the entire family gets to enjoy the thrill of karting!

Single Seater Kart

The 4 stroke single seater karts, we put into service are newly brought in by City Karting and are only available at our Langkawi Track. They are geared to have a top speed of around 80kph on the 2 straights, so they are fast enough for most of us and yet keep it safe!

           Power by a reliable and yet ecological 4 stroke!

                                  MORE SAFETY, A sturdy metal cover which isolates 

                                the rotating chain and brakes from the driver.

Double Seater Kart

As stated earlier when we first featured this very unique kart - this is probably the best thing to have been invented for karting.....The double or 2 seater we like to call it, is fully enclosed with a fibreglass shell and equipped with 2 roll over hoops which is part of main chassis. Yes, even safety belts as we believe your safety is never to be compromised!

Powered by a single 4 stroke engine, it offers decent speed and in the right hands - can match our single seater laptimes!

It comes with 2 steering wheel but one set of pedals so this allows the co-driver to have a feeling of steering the kart in perfect safety! This feature also allows the kart to be used as an effective tool for driver training!!
