Kart Racing in Malaysia<Previous Years' Racing Action>
Thanks to the support of our Malaysian Government, kart racing has blossomed tremendously over the last few years. Our Government recognised that karting is an extreme sport, which requires high discipline, dedication and technical know-how to succeed- and is therefore very keen to promote the sport to the masses to encourage such positive attributes amongst our youths. Due to the active patronage of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Malaysia ( Kementerian Belia & Sukan ), the sport has also managed to harness some support from the industry; in the form of event sponsorship, advertisement and also individual team sponsorship. Syabas! As one of the pioneering company for karting in Malaysia, City Karting Enterprise is proud to have been involved in a number of championships, as a promoter and also as a competitor alike. We understand the sport will reach higher levels of recognition if the correct support is given to our teams & customers racing in the event. Last of all, City Karting Enterprise would like to also thank the clubs, stewards and officials for their efforts in organising the events and races. Without their attention, racing would have been not possible.

ROK CUP International Finals 2005 in action!

Race Action for 2006!!! 2006 will be an exciting year for Malaysian karters and City Karting alike! As announced late 2005, City Karting has been given the national distributor rights to the world class chassis Tonykart & also Kosmic. More significantly for our racing program - City Karting has also the concessions to distribute the sensational ROK kart engines, thus qualifying us the run the ROK CUP Malaysian Championship! The ROK CUP Malaysian Championship will have Junior, Senior, Veteran & Open 125 class races using the ROK engines ( in Junior, Senior and SuperRok engines respectively ).At the end of the Championship, a Malaysian Champion for category will be announced who will then represent the nation at the ROK Cup International Finals. Champion drivers from each participating country worldwide will be present in the final race - just like a modern day Olympics but for kart racing! In addition to the driver's champion, a mechanics & team's championship will also be run - to spice up the entire event! At this present moment - we are also allowing other 125 TaG engines to be raced alongside but no points will be awarded to the ROK CUP Championships. This will allow more karters to know the ROK engine, even if they are on other brands at the moment.
For the Malaysian 2006 Championship - a 5 round race championship is planned. More info on the races, the specifications will be announced shortly via an official ASR, here on this website! Team Action for 2006!!! Historically, City Karting has been very active in all national kart racing action as well as those abroad! Our experience in bringing & coaching a pool of young drivers are second to none in Malaysia. Continuing on this successful track record - we will be announcing shortly our racing teams for the year's racing action! Stay Tuned!
