Prodigy Racing was formed in 2011 with a strategic objective to scout and nurture budding young talents in the exciting sport of motor racing.  Helmed by individuals with a vested interest as well as vast experience in the motorsport arena, Prodigy Racing seeks to mould future champions that have the potential to carve a name for young Asians, particularly Malaysians, in the international world of motor racing, with focus on karting.

  The fledgling team is based at Shah Alam Go-kart CIrcuit - an ideal training circuit of international standards and home to many past local karting champions. 

The team drivers come under the dedicated coaching of Mr Ng Wai Leong who hails from a Malaysian 'karting family'.  Mr Ng is an experienced race strategist, sharp racing talent scout, and former karting and Formula Asia champion at the turn of century.  In a few short months, the small but productive team of young racing prodigies have already placed themselves in contention for the championship titles in various categories, and are setting their sights at the international karting arena.
